Jacksonville Jaguars' running back Travis Etienne is set to test the free agent market, and one NFL insider seems quite confident that he will end up playing elsewhere.

Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports emptied his free agency notebook, and when mentioning the Jaguars as a landing spot for fellow free agent running back Kenneth Walker, he had this nugget about Etienne:
"The Jaguars are parting with Etienne and are happy with Bhayshul Tuten," Jones wrote.
Jones mentioned Denver as a potential landing spot for Etienne.
Etienne had a bounce-back season in 2025 under Liam Coen and played a key role in making this Jaguars' offense go. Along with once again eclipsing the 1,000-yard rushing mark, Etienne is a very good fit for Coen's system, with his ability to be moved around and operate in space.
With that said, this update from Jones doesn't come as a huge surprise either.
For one, Etienne should have an active market, and the Jaguars are short on cap space at the moment, with more pressing needs to address this offseason than running back.
In addition to that, James Gladstone has planned for this moment, selecting Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen in last April's draft.
Regardless of who the top running back is in 2026, getting more out of the run game will play a key role in helping take this Jaguars' offense to another level.
