Christopher makes Skyforce history in win over Magic

Kissimmee, FL (SKYFORCE) — The Sioux Falls Skyforce (14-12) defeated the Osceola Magic (17-7) 123-108 on Sunday afternoon at Silver Spurs Arena, giving Sioux Falls a 1-0 lead in the season series. Sioux Falls built a 66-46 halftime lead and extended its advantage to as many as 20 points, maintaining a double-digit margin throughout the second half to secure the win.

Josh Christopher led the way for Sioux Falls, recording a career-high 49 points on a career-best
19-29 shooting. Christopher also added 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and tied his career-best with 6
steals. With this performance, Christopher became the first player in Skyforce history to record
consecutive 40-plus point games, setting a new standard for scoring in back-to-back outings.
Dain Dainja contributed a double-double with 20 points on 6-10 shooting and 11 rebounds. He
also added four assists and two steals. Off the bench, Alex Fudge scored 16 points on 7-8
shooting in just 10 minutes of action, while also posting three rebounds, two assists, two steals,
and two blocks.
Sioux Falls shot 55 percent from the field (44-80) and 33.3 percent from three-point range (10-
30). Osceola was held to 42 percent from the field (37-88) and 23.3 percent from beyond the arc
(10-43).
For the Magic, Lester Quinones led with 25 points. Javonte Smart added 22 points, and Colin
Castleton recorded 20 points and 13 rebounds.
Sioux Falls returns to action against Osceola on March 3 at Silver Spurs Arena to complete the
season series. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CST.
