UFC Fight Night 268 video: King Green upsets Daniel Zellhuber with TKO

· Yahoo Sports

King Green was in peak taunting form at UFC Fight Night 268, and it paid off in the form of a significant upset against the heavily favored Daniel Zellhuber.

The 39-year-old Green (34-17-1 MMA, 15-12-1 UFC) was slipping strikes and in his zone in his lightweight featured bout with Zellhuber (15-4 MMA, 3-4 UFC) on Saturday at Arena CDMX in Mexico, and he carried that until landing some huge shots that set up the TKO finish at the 4:55 mark of Round 2.

Green added to his already record count of most significant strikes landed as he tagged Zellhuber over and over with his jab mixed in with well-timed kicks and bigger punches. Zellhuber stood right in front of Green while his hands were down, but refused to let go with his output and was left watching.

Finally, Green landed a huge punch that rocked Zellhuber and he attacked until referee Herb Dean finally decided to halt the action.

After the fight, Green swerved from a callout and instead stumped for the UFC to re-sign Nate Diaz.

"Dana (White), bring my boy Nate Diaz back to the UFC," Green said in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. "Let him retire where he belongs."
