What if we told you that you could win a round with Justin Thomas and his dad, PGA Professional Mike Thomas, at Panther National? You’d probably jump at the chance. But what if we also told you that the way to enter was by donationg to a great cause? It would be a no-brainer, right?

Well, we have good news. That’s exactly the proposition JT offered to golf fans on Thursday morning. Check it out.

A round at a bucket-list private course with a PGA Tour star and his legendary father who was instrumental in turning his son into a two-time major winner sounds like a dream come true to us. But it gets better. To throw your hat in the ring, all you have to do is make a donation to the ALS Bridge Foundation.
For those who may not know, ALS is a degenerative neurological disease that slowly destroys nerve cells in the brain, leading to a progressive loss of motor function, paralysis and, eventually, death. It is one of the most heartbreaking diseases known to humankind and it is still without a cure. The ALS Bridge Foundation seeks to find that cure by connecting disparate ALS researchers and patients across the globe to “to fund research, expand access to trials, and build a global network that transforms urgency into progress.”
Kudos to Thomas for championing this initiative and to anyone who donates. You probably won’t be lucky enough to tee it up with JT, but at least you’ll have done your part to help the ALS community march toward a cure.
