Shedeur Sanders is developing quite a professional persona. He definitely has the swagger and demeanor to be an NFL star quarterback. His new head coach with the Cleveland Browns, Todd Monken, is now experiencing that personality firsthand.

Monken recently had a birthday, and Sanders was quick send a gift Monken's way. According to Monken, that gift was unexpected and interesting to say the least.
"For my birthday, I got this package," Monken said. "I thought it was from my wife...I opened it up and it's like this porcelain horse head and it's from Shedeur. He sent me a gift on my birthday. I asked him what was the meaning and he says 'I just really liked it. I got myself one.'"
That is quite the story from Monken, and for all the "Friends" fans out there, it reminded me of when Joey bought a porcelain horse or dog simply because he thought it looked cool. Sanders appears to be on a similar wavelength and even took it a step further, buying one for his head coach.

Sanders and Monken seem to be developing a strong relationship in just the short time since he was named the Browns' head coach. The new shared a moment when they first met in person, with Monken joking about wanting to draft Sanders when he was the Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator.
While Sanders will have to compete with Dillon Gabriel and Deshaun Watson for the Browns' starting job, it does seem like Sanders has the upper hand heading into the spring, given that he finished the 2025 season as the Browns' starter. His burgeoning connection with Monken sure does not hurt either.
