Tuesday, Chicago Bears leadership will be at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

It's unclear if they will discuss plans for a new stadium.

This comes as Indiana lawmakers took another step forward in pushing legislation that would set up the financial framework for a potential new stadium.

Indiana officials have zeroed in on Hammond in the Wolf Lake area.

The proposal includes new food, beverage and innkeepers taxes in Indiana's northwest counties to help pay for the stadium and infrastructure.

The next step is final consideration by the Indiana House.

In Illinois, lawmakers are considering a bill that would give the Bears a long-term property tax break for construction on a stadium complex in Arlington Heights.

The "Mega Project Bill" will go before the Illinois House Revenue & Finance Committee on Thursday.
