The Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders are predicted to pull off a trade involving two players, including edge rusher Max Crosby.
Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine's trade proposal sends Crosby to the Lions and cornerback Terrion Arnold to the Raiders.
The hypothetical trade would also have Las Vegas acquiring the No. 17 overall pick in April's draft and a 2027 second-round pick:
"The Lions make a lot of sense as a team that has lost momentum as a contender, though. Dan Campbell's group seemed to fade from the spotlight as the year went on. Pairing Crosby with Aidan Hutchinson puts them right back in that spotlight. It would finally give Crosby a strong bookend while putting the Lions right back in the NFC conversation."
Acquiring Crosby would take the Lions' defense to the next level and catapult Dan Campbell's squad to Super Bowl contention.
A pass-rushing duo of Crosby and Aidan Hutchinson would be unstoppable and would cover up other weaknesses Detroit may have on defense.
Trading for Crosby will cost the Lions premium draft capital and a player, and Arnold could be the player Las Vegas wants. The young corner played just eight games in 2025 due to a shoulder injury, but when healthy, he's a solid starter who will only get better.
However, giving up Arnold to land a game-changer like Crosby is a no-brainer for the Lions. Crosby is one of the best players in football, tallying three double-digit sack seasons in the past four years.
Despite all the trade speculation, Crosby will likely remain in Las Vegas this season, but if he does request a trade and gets moved by the Raiders, the Lions should be a top landing spot, especially if Detroit fails to re-sign breakout edge rusher Al-Quadin Muhammad in free agency.
