Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos among names interested in buying the Seahawks
· Yahoo Sports
Since the Seattle Seahawks announced last week that they will be sold, several prominent names have come up as potential owners, two of whom are Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.
Bezos, as many know, is the owner of Amazon and the Washington Post. He is worth 224 billion and has lived in the area for 30 years.

He has also done business with the league, purchasing Thursday Night Football games on Amazon Prime Video.
He seems to be the logical choice to purchase the team.
Dyan Byers, a journalist with the publication Puck, says Bezos is not interested in the Seahawks.
“I’m reliably told that Jeff Bezos, who had been interested in acquiring the Washington Commanders, is not pursuing the Seahawks," Byers wrote on X.
Musk, the other name that has been brought up, is worth more than Bezos. According to Forbes, he is worth over $600 billion.
Money obviously is not the issue with Musk; his controversial takes, however, are.
Musk has been accused of being a racist several times over the years, and many felt he made a Nazi salute, which he denied.
The NFL has been pushing for more minority ownership in the league, so it would not be surprising if they encourage the Seahawks current management to let a minority or minority group buy the team.
