It means the full-back, 25, will miss the World Cup as well as the rest of the season.

He left the field on a stretcher early in the second half of the victory against QPR at Loftus Road last Saturday.

Miller, who was signed from Hibernian last summer, underwent surgery on Monday evening.

The Sydney-born Miller has been capped 20 times by his country.

He made his debut for the Socceroos against England in October 2023 and was a fixture of their World Cup qualifying campaign.
